I was wondering the same thing about coconut oil while I was baking it tonight. I made it exactly as written, and it came out fabulously. Super delicious! Did you try the coconut oil?

I think you can. Someone in the comments (I believe) substituted butter for the yogurt.

I would love to try this but I don't tolerate the yogurt very well. Can I substitute the yogurt for somethine else? Perhaps butter? Thank you
Also, I tried your butter biscuits and they are amazing!

Does anyone know if almond meal or pecan meal cake has less calories than using regular flour? I know if has less carbs, but I am wondering if it really amps up the caloric count if you switch to a nutty "meal?" Especially if you are able to digest regular flour. Thanks!

So, this looks like it could be made without the nut-butter part if you want just chocolate?

Great idea using coconut oil. I haven't tried another fruit. I have the freeze-dried blueberries but they didn't taste good to me, even on their own, so I didn't add them. I bet the bananas and strawberries will be excellent.

I used coconut oil in place of the unsalted butter since we don't do dairy, and it was delicious. I think I just had to get past comparing them to the typical rice crispy square. These are far better, and don't leave hands sticky. Do you ever use different fruit? I was at TJ's yesterday and picked up the freeze dried blueberries, strawberries and bananas to try different variations. Thanks for a great recipe!
