Five Minute Tomato Sauce
This recipe yields about 3.5 cups or 28 ounces of tomato sauce.
Feel free to add or change up the herbs and spices. And you can freeze leftovers, or double the recipe and freeze half.

peeled and crushed

crushed tomatoes

dried oregano

fresh basil

Instructions
Place a saucepan over medium heat and add the olive oil.
Add the crushed garlic and cook for a minute or so, without burning it.
Add the oregano, basil, and tomato sauce and bring to a steady simmer. Add a pinch or so of salt and pepper.
Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
