You can also freeze this for later, but for me it never lasts long enough to even consider it.I used a mix of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries in the photo, and you can use just one kind of berry as well. I often use just blueberries with great results!

Ingredients
4cupsmixed berriesfrozen or fresh
¼cupmaple syrupor honey
Instructions
Add the berries and sweetener to a saucepan and simmer on a low to medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the berry mix becomes a bit syrupy.
Cool and serve. Store in the refrigerator for a week or so.
