This sauce is great with a variety of dishes and can easily serve as a dressing for salads, or as a dip for raw and blanched veggies.I love to drizzle this sauce over steamed veggies and riced cauliflower. I steam broccoli, green beans, mushrooms, and bell peppers for about 12 minutes, or until slightly tender, and then serve the steamed veggies over cooked cauliflower rice, and drizzle the sauce over the veggies and rice. You can also use it as a stir-fry sauce. If you're using it for stir frying with fresh vegetables, I recommend steaming the broccoli and string beans for a few minutes to soften them so they can cook along side the peppers and mushrooms. If you're not a peanut butter fan, feel free to replace it with your favorite nut or seed butter. use peanuts or other nut or seed butter. To jazz up the sauce even further, you can add 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, and a clove of garlic when processing the sauce.Tamari sauce that is gluten free is ok for SCD however if you're not sure or want to replace it, you can do so with ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of salt.
