Green Bean Casserole {dairy-free}

Nov 11, 2022 (2 Comments)

Green Bean Casserole

There are a few reasons why I love this recipe.

First reason: It tastes amazing with natural, basic ingredients, and without the need for heavy cream or other dairy. And you can make this nut free.

Second reason: It has an earthy flavor, and is earth-friendly since it's plant-based.

Third reason: It's so easy to make ahead and then pull together right before a meal.

Fourth reason: It requires no baking, and only a bit of sautéing, simmering, and a quick boil.

Fifth reason: It's high in nutrients and low in carbs.

I added some substitution options in the recipe headnotes, and also note that you can easily make each part ahead of time and then bring it all together right before a meal. Enjoy!

      Hi Kristy, yes, you can definitely make this ahead of time and reheat when ready. Or, you can make the parts and warm them up and combine it in the casserole dish. I think about 325 for 15 min should be enough.
