I added a recipe for honey roasted peanuts thinking it would be a great topping for no-churn peanut butter banana ice cream. Then I started munching on them after I took photos and realized that it reminded me of the peanuts in Cracker Jack boxes. It was so long ago, but I still remember the joy when getting a box of caramel popcorn, peanuts, and a prize.
I have a preference for Spanish peanuts, but any peanut will work here. Make sure they're without the skin on them, no additives, and they can be raw or roasted.
I store these in the fridge because they seem even crunchier when I store them this way. The freezer works too. Enjoy!
