Cooking for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)

Jan 30, 2014 (updated Jan 15, 2025) (6 Comments)

Second Edition

"This cookbook is a must have for anyone starting and maintaining the SCD diet. From staples to snacks and everything in between every recipe I’ve tried has been foolproof and delicious. Highly recommend!"

"Love, love, love this book. It never leaves my counter top."

"Simple, easy to make, and super tasty recipes presented in an attractive and easy to follow manner. I bought the printed version, but then purchased the kindle version for when I travel. The specific carbohydrate diet has been key to my healing progress."

"I have been so happy with this book. I have tried many recipes in this book and I have truly enjoyed all of her recipes that I have tried so far. My absolutely favorite recipe from her book in her grain free granola. I make a big bath and sprinkle it on yogurt or my salads. I also love her classic marinara, I make a big batch and freeze it in smaller portions."

Hi -- thank you for your blog. Quick question -- are there egg free recipes as well? I'm allergic to eggs and have had a hard time finding egg free recipes that are SCD compliant. Thank you!

Yes, there are. On the right side of the site, go down to By recipe and click egg-free.
