Hot Chocolate

December 14, 2008 by Erica 3 Comments

Hot chocolate

It snowed last night and it’s below freezing, which is a bit unusual for the Seattle area this time of year. Of course it was only about an inch or so, but it was enough to hit the sleigh hill. And after, real hot chocolate.

Hot Chocolate

Ingredients and preparation

  • 8 oz of goat milk (cow, coconut, and almond milk work well too!)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate chips
  1. Add the milk and chips to a small saucepan.
  2. Heat on medium for 10 minutes, or until the chocolate chips are mostly dissolved (a few at the bottom is a nice treat at the end of the cup). Stir occasionally.
  3. Get a spoon and slurp away!

WE love your recipes. My daughter has Crohn’s, 12 years old and has been downloading recipes from your sight. We love the halibut fish sticks, brownies, chicken pot pie. Thanks so much for helping us to eat healthy foods that are easy on her tummy….
    Thanks,
    Michelle

Don’t worry about the taste for this one. I just had it this morning and it was a great way to start my day, it’s delicous and stays warm inside your belly.
