Chocolate Ice Cream Shell

Jun 13, 2026 (Leave a Comment)

Chocolate Ice Cream Shell

Would you like to take a moment to dress up your scoop of ice cream with a chocolate shell? Just melt some chocolate and coconut oil, cool for a moment and then drizzle it over the ice cream. Use my homemade chocolate chips or store-bought.

And if you're a topping fiend, keep going with crushed peanuts, or other nuts or seeds you prefer. Or maybe toasted coconut, chopped fruit, caramel sauce or caramel date sauce.

If you like having your chocolate in your ice cream, add chocolate to ice cream while it's in the ice cream maker.

You can also use this recipe to dip strawberries, bananas, and other fruit. Enjoy!
