Tahini Banana Soft Serve {quick & easy}

Jun 30, 2025 · Leave a Comment

Tahini Banana Soft Serve

If you love quick and easy. And soft serve. And tahini. And bananas. This is for you.

Freeze a bunch of ripe bananas overnight, grab your tahini, and pulse them together in a food processor. I've used a blender as well but I prefer the consistency that comes from the food processor.

The result is a soft, cold, creamy treat that is naturally sweetened, with a hint of caramel flavor. When the bananas are not pulsing well, I add a tablespoon or so of coconut milk or other milk or cream. If you let the bananas defrost for a few minutes it will be easier to pulse and you probably won't need the added milk.

To counteract any slight bitterness from the tahini, you can add a teaspoon or so of maple syrup, honey, a softened date, or date purée while pulsing the ingredients.

This tahini banana soft serve also freezes well, meaning you can eat it pretty much straight from the freezer without having to let it sit out at room temperature for 15 minutes. A big plus for when you're seeking an instant treat. If you added milk it may be a bit firmer in which case let it sit out at room temperature or a few minutes.

It goes well with waffle cones or in a waffle sandwich, or on top of waffles. For some drizzling options, try ganache, honey, or date syrup. And for crunchy toppings, try sesame brittle or some toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
